5 hours in the saddle today
Luke K and I went big today. We rode pavement/gravel/snow/mud all over in the hills. Mostly between 5,000 and 6,000 feet once we got up there. 30mph wind sucked but helped me from getting dropped by Luke. Luke has two broken wrists and fell off once. His right hand swelled up fierce. Black and blue...brutal. I said dude...you should start running for a few months.

Good to see you're putting in some time in the saddle. Ran into your sister in-law out the other day and she was still steamed that you wouldn't let her join you guys for a ride.
Then she let me in on her little plan to introduce you to a world of pain the next time she sees you and bikes are involved.
She's still bummed huh. She doesn't understand. I would love to ride with her but going on a training ride with a fast buddy and nursing her along are two different things. If her ego thinks she could keep up, she's in a fantasy land. That's just the reality of things.
oh man you're sounding like Iceman. i dig it.
Yo, who dat? Iceman?
The X man guy? The 5200 yr old mummy found in the Italian Alps? The mafia hitman?
Dude, you're kidding me, right?
Iceman = Val Kilmer's character in "Top Gun" He was the bad ass pilot with ice in his veins.
I've never seen Top Gun. It's true. My shame is revealed.
